LET'S GO
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRAIN WITH SDP

➡️ STRENGTH (OFTEN WITH HEAVY WEIGHTS)
Build full-body strength that actually transfers. Not just flexibility, not just burn. Strong legs, powerful glutes, resilient shoulders, a core that works under load.
➡️ CONTROL UNDER FATIGUE
Anyone can move well when fresh. SDP trains you to stay precise, connected and controlled when it gets uncomfortable. That’s where real strength lives.
➡️ ENDURANCE & CAPACITY
This is Pilates as an endurance sport. Longer sets, layered sequences, sustained effort. You’ll build the capacity to keep going when others tap out.
➡️ ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE
Feel faster, sharper and more capable in your body. Whether you lift, run, train hard or just expect more from yourself, this work carries over.
➡️ MENTAL GRIT
You’ll get comfortable being uncomfortable. SDP builds focus, discipline and follow-through. You don’t just leave stronger - you leave tougher.
This isn’t a programme you complete and move on from.
It’s a training platform you grow with.
This is not for everyone
This platform is intentionally advanced. If you’re looking for something gentle, slow, or introductory, this won’t be the right fit.
SDP isn’t designed for you if:
✔️ You’re brand new to Pilates or strength training
✔️ You’re looking for slow, restorative or recovery-focused sessions
✔️ You want gentle workouts that don’t push your limits
✔️ Consistency and self-discipline aren’t your thing (yet)

FAQS.
Everything you need to know before you start.
Are the workouts more strength or more Pilates?
Both, so you don't have to choose between one or the other.
SDP blends classical Pilates foundations with:
Loaded strength
Athletic conditioning
Endurance-based sequencing
It’s Pilates for people who want to feel stronger, sharper and more capable, not just more mobile.
Is this suitable if I have never done Pilates before?
SDP is designed for people who already train and want more intensity, structure and progression.
If you’re new to Pilates or strength training, we recommend starting with the 1-Month Pilates Challenge - a structured programme that builds strength, technique and confidence so you’re ready to level up into the SDP method.
Think of it as your on-ramp to advanced training 🚀
How hard is it really?
This is not gentle Pilates.
Expect strength work, long sets, minimal rest and progressive layers that build fatigue and control. Classes range from comfortably challenging to very tough - but always purposeful, not chaotic.
Do I need equipment?
Some classes use small equipment, others are completely bodyweight.
Commonly used props include:
Dumbbells
Mini loop
Soft ball
Sliders
You don’t need everything to start, and alternatives are always suggested.
Do you have an app?
Yes, there is an android and iOS Sam Deville Pilates available an we recommend this as the best way to stream the classes.
How long are the workouts?
Most classes sit between 10–45 minutes.
Shorter sessions are often more intense. Longer sessions build endurance, strength and stamina. You can stack workouts or train standalone.
Is there a schedule to follow?
Sam programmes your week for you (if you want it).
Every Monday, you’ll receive a recommended 5-day training plan that balances strength, core, endurance and recovery. It’s how we build consistency and real results inside SDP.
Or, if you like full autonomy, you can explore the library and train however suits you.
What happens after the free trial?
You’ll have full access during your trial. If it’s right for you, you can continue on the monthly or annual plan you selected when you signed up. If not, you can easily cancel before the trial ends - no awkward hoops.
Can I download videos to save them to my device?
Yes the workouts can be saved offline within the app for use when travelling or in areas with bad WiFi.
Can I do this alongside other training?
Yes – many runners, Hyrox athletes and strength trainees use this alongside their main training.
Do I need Pilates experience to be a member?
No, provided you have a strong fitness base, Pilates experience is not essential.
