Sam Deville is the founder of Sam Deville Pilates and creator of the SDP method. Known for delivering unapologetically hard, strength-led Pilates, Sam works with clients who want more than traditional mat work. Her training blends classical foundations with loaded strength, athletic conditioning and serious intensity. This challenge is built from the most demanding workouts on her platform – designed for people who already train and want to push further.

Everything you need to know before you start.

Is this suitable if I have injuries?

No. This challenge is not recommended for anyone managing back pain, pelvic issues, diastasis, or joint instability. Choose this only if you’re currently able to train hard and consistently.

What if I fall behind?

You won’t “fail” the challenge. You get full access to all 10 classes for the duration of January. Repeat, stack or adjust the schedule as needed — just keep showing up.

Do I have to start the challenge on 5th January?

You can start at any point until 7th January, which is our final cut off point.

Do you have an app?

Yes, there is an android and iOS Sam Deville Pilates available an we recommend this as the best way to stream the classes.

Is this suitable for beginners?

No. This challenge is built for people who already train and are confident with loaded, advanced Pilates.

Do I need equipment?

Some sessions are bodyweight only. Others require weights and small equipment.

How long are the workouts?

Sessions range from 40–57 minutes.

Can I download videos to save them to my device?

Yes the workouts can be saved offline within the app for use when travelling or in areas with bad WiFi.

Can I do this alongside other training?

Yes – many runners, Hyrox athletes and strength trainees use this alongside their main training.

Do I need Pilates experience to do this challenge?

No, provided you have a strong fitness base, Pilates experience is not essential.
